OrganizerFORGE

A base-cabinet pullout with bays, a utensil-cup shelf and a knife block — sized to your opening, your slides and your material.

One sheet of plywood, or five hundred dollars

That is the whole argument, and it is the trade price I am comparing against — not the inflated list. A wood pullout is a box, some hardware and an afternoon. Laying one out to fit a specific opening is the part nobody wants to do twice, and that is the part this does.

Built on your machine, from about half a sheet of 12 mm plymaterial only

The first row is the closest match to what this builds — bins, shelves and a knife block in one pullout. Prices checked 17 August 2026 at a cabinet supplier. Take the trade column as the real number — list exists partly to make the trade discount look good, and if you are cutting these you have an account. Either column is more than a sheet of ply.

What it makes

Bays

Split the box into compartments. The layout comes off your opening, not off a catalogue of fixed widths.

Cup shelf

One field of slots for rim-hung stainless cups. Cups fill in front of the knife hole, and the count follows the width you typed.

Knife block

A slotted sleeve built into the box. Default 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 x 8 3/4, and it moves with the rest of the layout.

Drawer hardware

Blum TANDEM 563H undermount, 12 mm sides, 6 mm hook bores — drilled in the right place, on the right panel.

The numbers

Defaults, not limits. Every one of these is a field you type into — the gadget builds to what you measured, not to what I measured.

Default opening20" wide x 23" high
Material12 mm ply throughout (sold as 1/2")
SlidesBlum TANDEM 563H, or 569H for heavy loads
Cups5" body, 5 1/4" rim, 6 7/8" deep — rim-hung
Knife block3 3/4 x 3 3/4 x 8 3/4 default
OutputNested vectors, layers named per operation, toolpaths posted in cut order

Fully parametric, and hands off

You do not draw anything and you do not edit geometry. Type your opening, your material and your hardware, press Generate, and it lays the parts out on your sheet with the toolpaths posted in cut order — pockets, bores, cutouts, then the part outlines last. It reads your real sheet size out of Job Setup, so the nest is against the material you are actually holding.

All three pullouts — $150

OrganizerFORGE, TrashFORGE and SpiceFORGE are $75 each, or $150 for the three. They share a carcass and the same hardware, so if you are cutting one you are set up to cut all of them.
